The Central Archive is pleased to publish the inventory of the documentation that keeps the registry and board of trustees of charitable and welfare foundations of the province of Madrid, linked in its origin and development to the Provincial Board of Beneficence and that in its last stage was linked to the disappeared Provincial Directorate of Labor.

On the occasion of the commemoration of the 40th anniversary of Royal Decree-Law 36/1978, of 16 November (PDF) A photographic exhibition has been inaugurated in Córdoba at the INSS and the General Treasury of Social Security, which commemorates the first major reform of Social Security and the creation of Managing Entities such as the INSS and the TGSS. The exhibition collects numerous objects and images both static and moving, which have been transferred to digital format. Some of this material has been deposited in the museum of the IGSS in Calle Valenzuela in Madrid, accompanied by a small dossier. The exhibition and the selection of documents have been made by Miguel Ángel Entrenas Liria, Provincial Deputy Director of Financial Management of the Provincial Directorate of Córdoba of the TGSS.
In 2018 we commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Spanish Constitution, but also of Royal Decree-Law 36/1978, of November 16, on the institutional management of Social Security, Health and Employment, which represented a radical transformation of the organization and structure of the system of social security and protection in Spain, whose current bases were laid then. One of the new entities created by that Royal Decree-Law was the National Employment Institute, the current State Public Employment Service (SEPE).
In 2014, the 50th anniversary of the launch, in 1964, of the National Program for the Professional Promotion of Workers (PPO) was celebrated. For this reason, and to record its significance as a milestone in the professional training for employment promoted by the public authorities, its achievements and operation, the Central Archive of the Ministry of Employment and Social Security has compiled a small review with its organizational and institutional profiles.
